La séptima prueba del S-CER, quinta del CERA y cuarta cita del Iberian Rally Trophy llega este fin de semana a Asturias, más concretamente a la ciudad de Oviedo, sede del rally.
La lista de inscritos será numerosa con más de 120 pilotos a pesar de algunas bajas importantes debido a la cercanía con el rally de Azores (Portugal) del ERC que se disputará la semana próxima no estarán en el Rally Princesa. Iván Ares, Luis Vilariño, Javi Pardo, Joan Vinyes y Joan Solans que ha descartado este rally.
En las copas monomarca tendremos la Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica, la N5 RMC Cup, Renault Clio Cup, Dacia Sandero...
Será un rally complicado pero bonito para todos los pilotos por eso lo convierte en uno de los rallyes más legendarios de España.

The seventh round of the S-CER, fifth round of the CERA and fourth round of the Iberian Rally Trophy arrives this weekend in Asturias, more specifically in the city of Oviedo, home of the rally.

El Rally Rías Baixas puntuable para la Copa de España de Rallyes de Asfalto (CERA) este pasado fin de semana contó con un invitado de lujo el asturiano José Antonio Suárez (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) y actual líder del Super Campeonato de España de Rallyes.
El piloto asturiano no defraudó y logró la victoria con una cómoda ventaja de 1 minuto y 37 segundos sobre el segundo clasificado Jorge Pérez (Citroën DS3 R5, tercero fue Sergio Vallejo (Porsche 997 GT3 RS) a 2 minutos del liderato.
Uno de los favoritos para conseguir la victoria era Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2) pero un pinchazo en los primeros tramos del día le hicieron perder todas las opciones por la victoria. Tras una gran remontada se conformó con el séptimo puesto.
El Top 10 lo formaron en cuarta posición Pablo Rey (Škoda Fabia R5), quinto Albert Orriols(Škoda Fabia R5), sexto David González (Ford Fiesta N5), séptimo Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2), octavo Jorge Cagiao (Renault Clio RSR Rally5), noveno Pablo Pazó (Talbot Sunbeam Lotus) y décimo Alberto Nimo (Peugeot 208 N5).
La próxima cita del CERA será en Cantabria en el Rallye Cristian López (27-28/08/2021).

The Rally Rías Baixas scoring for the Spanish Tarmac Rally Cup (CERA) this past weekend featured a luxury guest the asturian driver José Antonio Suárez (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) and current leader of the Spanish Super Rally Championship.
The Asturian driver didn´t disappoint and achieved the victory with a comfortable advantage of 1 minute and 37 seconds over the second placed Jorge Pérez (Citroën DS3 R5, third was Sergio Vallejo (Porsche 997 GT3 RS) 2 minutes from the lead.
One of the favourites drivers for victory was Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2) but a puncture in the opening stages of the day made him lose all options for victory. After a great comeback he settled for seventh place.
The Top 10 was formed in fourth place by Pablo Rey (Škoda Fabia R5), fifth by Albert Orriols (Škoda Fabia R5), sixth by David González (Ford Fiesta N5), seventh by Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2), eighth by Jorge Cagiao (Renault Clio RSR Rally5), ninth by Pablo Pazó (Talbot Sunbeam Lotus) and tenth Alberto Nimo (Peugeot 208 N5).
The next CERA round will be in Cantabria at Rally Cristian López (27-28/08/2021).
La Copa de España de Rallyes de Asfalto (CERA) volvía tras varios meses de parón, la cita anterior fue en el mes de abril en el Rally Sierra Morena.
La segunda cita del campeonato se celebró en tierras gallegas en el novedoso Rally de Narón, donde la lista de inscritos no fue muy numerosa. Destacó la presencia del piloto asturiano Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2), Sergio Vallejo (Porsche 997 GT3), Jorge Pérez (Citroën DS3 R5), Pablo Rey (Škoda Fabia R5), Iago Gabeiras (Peugeot 208 Rally4), Alejandro Pais (Renault Clio N5)... y Jorge Cagiao (Renault Clio Rally4) que hacia debutar a este coche a nivel nacional.
A pesar de una gran lucha por la primera posición el gallego Jorge Pérez no pudo con Óscar Palacio que venció con una ventaja de 14 segundos.
Tercero fue Sergio Vallejo con su espectacular Porsche, cuarto Pablo Rey, quinto Jorge Cagiao demostrando que el nuevo Renault Clio Rally4 tiene mucho futuro.
Sexto fue David Grandal (Suzuki Swift Sport R+), séptimo Iago Gabeiras, octavo Pedro Castro (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), noveno Daniel Castro (Renault Clio Rally5) y el último del Top Ten fue Alejandro Pais.
La próxima cita del Campeonato de España de Rallyes de Asfalto será también en Galicia en el mítico Rally Rías Baixas 2021 (23-24/07/2021).

The Spanish Tarmac Rally Cup (CERA) returned after several months of stoppage, the previous event was in April in the Rally Sierra Morena.
The second round of the championship was held in Galicia in the new Rally de Narón, where the entry list was not very numerous. The most important was the presence of the Asturian driver Óscar Palacio (Ford Fiesta Rally2), Sergio Vallejo (Porsche 997 GT3), Jorge Pérez (Citroën DS3 R5), Pablo Rey (Škoda Fabia R5), Iago Gabeiras (Peugeot 208 Rally4), Alejandro Pais (Renault Clio N5)... and Jorge Cagiao (Renault Clio Rally4) that made this car debut nationally.
Despite a great fight for the first position, the Galician Jorge Pérez could not beat Óscar Palacio who won with a lead of 14 seconds.
Third was Sergio Vallejo with his spectacular Porsche, fourth Pablo Rey, fifth Jorge Cagiao showing that the new Renault Clio Rally4 has a lot of future.
Sixth was David Grandal (Suzuki Swift Sport R+), seventh Iago Gabeiras, eighth Pedro Castro (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), ninth Daniel Castro (Renault Clio Rally5) and last of the Top Ten was Alejandro Pais.
