The Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) wins the rally at home and gives Hyundai the second victory of the season after Ott Tänak in the Artic Rally. After a bad year today was a day of celebration for the Hyundai team because they made a double. Victory and second place for the Irish Craig Breen (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC). At WRC2 only two cars completed the rally, the victory was for the finish Jari Huttunen (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) and the russian Nikolay Gryazin (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5). Oliver Solberg (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) led much of the rally but in Sunday’s opening stage he had to retire due to an electrical failure.

In WRC3 victory for the French Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) followed by the Belgians Pieter Cracco (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) who was second and Vincent Verschueren (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) was third.

In JWRC the winner was the British Jon Armstrong (Ford Fiesta Rally4), second the Finnish Sami Pajari (Ford Fiesta Rally4) and third the Estonian Robert Virves (Ford Fiesta Rally4).

The next WRC round will be in Greece at the Acropolis Rally (09-12/09/2021).

El belga Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) gana en el rally de casa y le da la segunda victoria de la temporada a Hyundai después de la de Ott Tänak en el Artic Rally. Después de un mal año hoy ha sido un día de celebración para el equipo Hyundai porque han hecho un doblete. Victoria y segunda posición para el irlandés Craig Breen. Tercero ha sido el primer Toyota pilotado por el joven finlandés Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC).

Cerca del podio han estado los Toyotas del británico Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris WRC) y el francés Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC). Sexto y a mucha distancia debido a un pinchazo ha finalizado el estonio Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC).

La Power Stage se celebró en el mítico circuito de Spa-Francorchamps con victoria para Ott Tänak (+5 puntos), Sébastien Ogier (+4 puntos), Thierry Neuville (+3 puntos). Ha sido un rally muy complicado y accidentado. Con especial mención a los accidentes de Adrien Fourmaux (Ford Fiesta WRC), Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota Yaris WRC) y Pieter Tsjoen (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5).

En WRC2 sólo han completado el rally dos coches, la victoria ha sido para el finlandés Jari Huttunen (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) y segundo el ruso Nikolay Gryazin (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5).
Oliver Solberg (Hyundai i20 N Rally2) lideró gran parte del rally pero en el primer tramo del domingo ha tenido que abandonar por un fallo eléctrico.

En WRC3 victoria para el francés Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) seguidos por los belgas Pieter Cracco (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) que fue segundo y Vincent Verschueren (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) tercero.

Il belga Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) vince al rally di casa e dà la seconda vittoria della stagione a Hyundai dopo quella di Ott Tänak all'Artic Rally. Dopo un brutto anno, oggi è stato un giorno di festa per il team Hyundai perché hanno fatto un doppio. Vittoria e seconda posizione per l'irlandese Craig Breen (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC). Terzo è stata la prima Toyota pilotata dal giovane finlandese Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC).

Vicino al podio sono stati i Toyoti del britannico Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris WRC) ed il francese Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC). Sesto e a grande distanza a causa di una foratura ha completato l'estone Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC).

Fastest in the shakedown was the Belgian driver Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC), second the Estonian Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) and third the French Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC).

Fourth was the Britain Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris) and fifth was the Finish Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris).

Quarto era il britannico Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris WRC) e quinto il finlandese Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC).

This week the Toyota team has done test on tarmac in France, previously the team had tested the new car in Finland and Portugal.

Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris) wins at the Estonian Rally and makes history because at 20 years old he becomes the youngest driver to achieve a WRC victory.

Young Finnish talent led Irish Craig Breen (Hyundai i20) by 1 minute and Belgian Thieurry Neuville (Hyundai i20) closed the podium by 12 seconds after.

Estonian Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20) retired on the opening day but took victory on the Power Stage, scoring 5 major points for the championship.

Fourth was the French Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris) who had a very clever rally in addition to the handicap of opening the road on friday. Ogier is now more championship leader as title rival the British Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris) finished in fifth place.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) made a perfect rally by winning the WRC 2 category and taking ninth place in the overall standings.

Second in WRC 2 was Mads Østberg (Citroën C3 Rally2) and third Marco Bulacia (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).

Spectacular WRC 3 victory for Russia’s Alexey Lukyanuk (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) and eighth overall in the standings despite a heavy crash. Lukyanuk beat Polish rival Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) by more than 3 minutes and third was the Finnish Mikko Heikkilä (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).

In the JWRC, Sami Pajari (Ford Fiesta Rally4) won again, followed by Jon Armstrong (Ford Fiesta Rally4) and Mārtiņš Sesks (Ford Fiesta Rally4).

The next WRC round will be in Belgium at the Ypres Rally (13-15/08/2021).

Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC) vence en el Rally de Estonia y hace historia porque con sus 20 años se convierte en el piloto más joven en lograr una victoria en el WRC.

El joven talento finlandés ha aventajado en 1 minuto al segundo clasificado el irlandés Craig Breen (Hyundai i20 WRC) y a 12 segundos cerró el podio el belga Thieurry Neuville (Hyundai i20 WRC).

El estonio Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 WRC) abandonó en la primera jornada pero consiguió la victoria en la Power Stage, logrando 5 puntos importantes para el campeonato.

Cuarto fue el francés Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC) que ha realizado un rally muy inteligente además del hándicap de abrir pista el viernes. Ahora mismo Ogier es más líder del campeonato ya que su rival por el titulo el británico Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris WRC) ha acabado en quinta posición.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) ha hecho un rally perfecto logrando la victoria de la categoría WRC 2 y consiguiendo la novena posición en la clasificación general. Segundo en WRC 2 fue Mads Østberg (Citroën C3 Rally2) y tercero Marco Bulacia (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).

Espectacular victoria en WRC 3 del ruso Alexey Lukyanuk (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) y octava posición en la clasificación general a pesar de sufrir un fuerte accidente. Il giovane talento finlandese ha superato in un minuto il secondo classificato l'irlandese Craig Breen (Hyundai i20 WRC) e a 12 secondi ha chiuso il podio il belga Thieurry Neuville (Hyundai i20 WRC).

L'estone Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 WRC) abbandonò la prima giornata ma ottenne la vittoria al Power Stage, ottenendo 5 punti importanti per il campionato.

The new Ford Puma Rally1 for the WRC 2022

The next WRC season will see a major change, the premier class "WRC" will be renamed "Rally1" and will feature plug-in hybrid cars.

M-Sport was the first team to present their new car at the Goodwood Speed Festival in the UK. This new car is the Ford Puma Rally1, with hybrid technology consisting of a 1.6-liter turbocharged EcoBoost gasoline engine with a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor. The electric battery is recharged by braking as in Formula 1.

This car was presented by the French M-Sport driver Adrien Fourmaux and the team’s test driver Matthew Wilson.

We are waiting for the other two brands Toyota and Hyundai to present their new vehicles. Next Rallye Monte-Carlo 2022 will see the debut of the news Rally1.

M-Sport ha sido el primer equipo en presentar su nuevo coche en el Festival de la Velocidad de Goodwood en Reino Unido. Este nuevo coche se trata del Ford Puma Rally1, con tecnología hibrida que consta de un motor de gasolina EcoBoost de 1.6 litros turboalimentado con un motor eléctrico de 100 kW (136 CV). La batería eléctrica se recarga mediante el frenado como ocurre en la Formula 1.

Los encargados de presentar este coche ha sido el piloto francés de M-Sport Adrien Fourmaux y el piloto de pruebas de la escudería Matthew Wilson.

Estamos a la espera que las otras dos marcas Toyota y Hyundai presenten sus nuevos vehículos. En el próximo Rallye Monte Carlo 2022 debutarán los novedosos Rally1.

M-Sport è stata la prima squadra a presentare la sua nuova macchina al Goodwood Speed Festival nel Regno Unito. Questa nuova macchina è la Ford Puma Rally1, con tecnologia ibrida che consiste di un motore a benzina Ecoboost da 1.6 litri turbocompresso con un motore elettrico da 100 kW (136 CV). Safari Rally Kenya 2021 🇰🇪 - WRC - Review

The Safari Rally returned after several years out of the WRC, it is true that the route of the rally was not the same as in the past but it can be said that it was a very hard rally for drivers and cars.

Many drivers have retired such as Dani Sordo, Elfyn Evans, Lorenzo Bertelli, Kalle Rovanperä... but have been able to compete again thanks to the Super Rally format but with their corresponding time penalty.

The Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) led much of the rally but with three stages to go due to a heavy accident, the Hyundai team was not going through a great time.

Fourth and fifth were the M-Sport´s boys, the Britain Gus Greensmith (Ford Fiesta WRC) and the French Adrien Fourmaux (Ford Fiesta WRC).

Sixth was the Finish Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC) who despite coming out in Super Rally scored important points for the championship.

The negative note was the poor participation of regular drivers of the championship, the positive note is that this mythical rally has exceeded all expectations and it seems that for many years it will again be a hard and reference rally.

The next WRC round will be Rally Estonia (15-18/07/2021).

Volvió el Rally Safari después de varios años fuera del WRC, es verdad que el itinerario del rally no fue igual que en el pasado pero se puede decir que fue un rally muy duro para los pilotos y los coches.

Muchos pilotos han abandonado como Dani Sordo, Elfyn Evans, Lorenzo Bertelli, Kalle Rovanperä... pero han podido volver a competir gracias al formato Super Rally pero con su correspondiente sanción de tiempo.

El belga Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) lideró gran parte del rally pero a falta de tres tramos tuvo que abandonar debido a un fuerte accidente, el equipo Hyundai no pasa por un gran momento.

La victoria ha sido para el francés Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC) que una vez más ha sido el más rápido y el más inteligente ya que no ha sufrido casi incidentes durante todo el rally.

Merecida segunda posición del japonés Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota Yaris WRC) que a pesar de ser muy prudente ha conseguido su mejor posición en el WRC. Tercero ha sido el estonio Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) que ha salvado la honra de Hyundai.

Cuarto y quinto han sido los chicos de M-Sport, el británico Gus Greensmith (Ford Fiesta WRC) y el francés Adrien Fourmaux (Ford Fiesta WRC).

Sexto fue el finlandés Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris WRC) que a pesar de salir en Super Rally consiguió puntos importantes para el campeonato.

La nota negativa fue la pobre participación de pilotos habituales del campeonato, la nota positiva es que este mítico rally ha superado todas las expectativas y parece que durante muchos años volverá a ser un rally duro y de referencia.

La próxima cita del WRC será el Rally Estonia (15-18/07/2021).

È tornato il Rally Safari dopo diversi anni fuori dal WRC, è vero che l'itinerario del rally non è stato come in passato, ma si può dire che è stato un rally molto difficile per i piloti e le macchine.

Molti piloti hanno abbandonato come Dani Sordo, Elfyn Evans, Lorenzo Bertelli, Kalle Rovanperä... ma hanno potuto competere di nuovo grazie al formato Super Rally ma con la relativa sanzione di tempo.

Il belga Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) ha guidato gran parte del rally ma in mancanza di tre tratti ha dovuto abbandonare a causa di un grave incidente, il team Hyundai non passa un gran momento.

La vittoria è stata per il francese Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris WRC) che ancora una volta è stato il più veloce e il più intelligente in quanto non ha subito quasi incidenti durante tutto il rally.

Meritata seconda posizione del giapponese Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota Yaris WRC) che pur essendo molto prudente ha ottenuto la sua posizione migliore nel WRC. Terzo è stato l'estone Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC) che ha salvato l'onore di Hyundai.
